2010 EUROPEAN YEAR FOR COMBATING POVERTY AND SOCIAL EXCLUSION- END POVERTY NOW

The EY 2010 End Poverty Coalition of social NGOs across Europe aim to ensure an active participation of social NGOs in the year and to advocate for a strong political legacy from the year. 

The European Federation for Street Children is among 40 other NGOs a member of the Coalition which is beeing coordinated by the European Anti Poverty Network (EAPN).

On January 19th 2010, two days before the official opening of the European Year in Madrid by the European Institutions, the Coalition have held a press conference to present its key demands for the outcome of EY 2010.
