MISSION AND OBJECTIVES
The organisation consists of an “active field” in which active education is promoted in children’s free time and a “re-vindication and mobilisation field”. Its main values are: laicism, equality, solidarity, and democracy. Its main perspective is “Man and citizen as free as possible in as much of a democratic society as possible.” 
Therefore, Les Francas seeks to contribute to the elaboration and concretisation of a politic which permits children and youth to exercise their autonomy, their responsibility and their citizenship so that these can be integrated into society giving them a chance to define their future.

Its main activities are the following:
       1. To offer children and young people facilities and support with their social, educational and cultural 
           needs 
       2. Training of voluntary and professional youth leaders
       3. Advice to NGOs and local communities on the management and organisation of educational projects
       4. Promotion of intercultural learning through youth development initiatives, international cooperation 
           and youth exchange programmes
